A class can help a student in many ways. Many students (or their parents) buy review books and rarely if ever open them. It’s difficult for students to have the motivation to read through the material in the large, daunting books and also take practice tests. Even if they are able to do this, most students learn better from an effective teacher. A teacher can introduce valuable techniques for solving math, reading and grammar questions in a way the students can more easily digest. A good class will also go over general test taking strategies that can be very helpful. It can also help boost the student’s confidence.
